In Selangor, Malaysia, a prominent aluminum extrusion and billet casting group commissioned Henan Yushunxin Heavy Industry Technology (ENV) to resolve issues caused by powder-coated and fluoropolymer (PVDF) painted architectural scrap. Charging painted profiles directly into casting furnaces resulted in heavy dross, furnace wall build-up, and corrosive acid smoke.

Our engineering team designed and deployed a heavy-duty continuous thermal decoating system with dual-drum magnetic sorting and high-temperature thermal oxidation. The plant operates at 500°C under tightly controlled micro-negative atmosphere, cleanly vaporizing tough PVDF and acrylic resins while preserving 99.4% of the high-grade aluminum alloy.

The decoated profile scrap can be charged directly into the remelting furnace, improving furnace throughput and dramatically lowering dross disposal costs.
